Athletics Mercado Hovermale/Tidd will represent Southern California softball as it faces Hotshots National Galloway of Texas in the 16-and-under Premier final at the PGF Nationals at Deanna Manning Stadium in Irvine on Saturday at 9 a.m.

The game will stream live on ESPN+ at 9 a.m.

Athletics Mercado features All-County players Bree Carlson of Huntington Beach and Hayden Huerta of Rosary among others.

In the 18-and-under Premier championship, Arizona Rising Appel plays Lady Dukes Lamar at noon. The game will air live on ESPNU.

The PGF Futures All-American Game will stream live on ESPN+ at 3 p.m.

The PGF Senior All-American Game is set for 7 p.m. and will air live on ESPNU.

Mater Dei’s Elle McCloskey (Oklahoma State) and Santa Margarita’s duo of Payton Kennedy (Mississippi) and Jillian Torres (Notre Dame) will play for West in the senior all-star game.

PGF, based in Huntington Beach, is hosting more than 600 teams this week and next week for nationals.
